  • Begin with a brief discussion: "What comes to mind when you hear the word 'kindness'?" (1 minute)

  • Show Kindness Ripple Effect Slide Deck Slide 3: 'Effects on Individuals.' Discuss examples.
    - Show Kindness Ripple Effect Slide Deck Slide 4: 'Effects on Community.' Discuss examples.
    - Facilitate a brief class discussion using prompts like: 'Have you ever experienced a ripple effect from an act of kindness? What happened?' and 'How does it feel to give or receive kindness?' (7 minutes)

  • Distribute the Kindness Reflection Journal. (1 minute)
