Step 1

Warm-Up: Counting Chant

  • Greet students and begin with a simple counting chant from 1-10.
    - Ask students to show on their fingers how many objects they see as you hold up different quantities (1-3).

Introduction to Numbers 1-5

    - For each number (1-5), show the number card, say the number aloud, and have students repeat.
