Think Before You Speak

In this engaging 45-minute session, 5th graders will learn the THINK framework—True, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, Kind—to choose better words and build a kinder classroom. Starting with a whole-group introduction and moving into small groups led by 7th-grade mentors, students will practice filtering statements through THINK, reflect on scenarios, and commit to using kind language. This Tier 1 lesson supports school-wide anti-bullying efforts by equipping all students with a simple, memorable tool for positive communication.

Seeing Beyond Stereotypes

This lesson is designed for a 5th-grade student who has made stereotypical drawings based on another student's race.
