Beach Ball of Emotions
Students will identify and label emotions, learn and practice coping strategies through an engaging beach ball activity, and reflect on which strategies work best for them to build self-awareness and self-management.
This lesson teaches 3rd graders essential emotional regulation skills in a fun, physical setting. By naming emotions and practicing calming strategies, students gain tools to manage feelings and improve focus, behavior, and relationships.
