Lesson Plan

Brave Hearts Club Lesson Plan

Students will identify and express feelings related to separation anxiety, share personal experiences, and practice simple coping strategies. By the end, each student will demonstrate deep breathing and articulate a coping phrase on their own Brave Badge.

Helping first graders manage separation anxiety builds emotional resilience, increases confidence in new environments, and fosters a sense of safety and connectedness. This supports smoother transitions and stronger engagement in the classroom.
