Instant Calm Session Plan

Students will learn and practice quick, on-the-spot relaxation techniques—guided breathing and muscle relaxation—to manage stress and anxiety in real time.

This lesson builds self-regulation skills by giving students tools to reduce anxiety and refocus instantly. It promotes emotional well-being and empowers 8th graders to handle stress during the school day.
