Conflict to Connection Plan

Students will identify common sources of peer conflict and practice a four-step resolution process—calm down, listen actively, use “I” statements, brainstorm solutions—to resolve disagreements positively.

Teaching conflict resolution equips students with essential social skills to manage disagreements peacefully, strengthens peer relationships, and reduces classroom disruptions.
