Emotion Detectives Lesson Plan

In this small-group session, students will act as “Emotion Detectives” to recognize, label, and express emotions through interactive games and discussions, strengthening self-awareness and peer understanding.

Developing emotional literacy helps students identify and manage their feelings, fostering empathy, improved communication, and positive peer interactions—key SEL skills.
