Lesson Plan

Emotion Explorers Lesson Plan

Students will identify and name five common emotions—happy, sad, angry, surprised, and scared—by observing facial expressions and body language, then practice expressing and recognizing them through interactive activities.

Developing emotional literacy helps first graders understand and manage their feelings and empathize with others, fostering stronger communication and self-regulation skills.
