Lesson Plan

Mapping Emotions Guide

Students will learn to recognize, label, and chart their emotions throughout the day using an emotion wheel and tracker, then practice selecting and using coping tools to regulate feelings.

Building emotional self-awareness and regulation supports positive classroom behavior, reduces stress, and fosters empathy and resilience in 2nd graders.
