Empathy Lesson Plan

Students will learn to recognize and understand others’ feelings by reading a story, discussing scenarios, and role-playing responses to practice empathy.

Building empathy helps students connect with peers, reduces conflicts, and fosters a supportive classroom culture by teaching them to consider and respect others’ perspectives.
