Feeling Detective? Lesson Plan

In this 25-minute session, students will become “Feeling Detectives” by identifying and labeling emotions using clues and mapping their own feelings. Goals: build emotional vocabulary, practice empathy, and develop self-awareness.

Developing emotional literacy helps students recognize and regulate feelings, fosters empathy, and creates a supportive classroom community that values peer understanding and self‐awareness.
