Feelings Detective Triangle Plan

This one-on-one lesson turns a first grader into a “Feelings Detective” using the CBT Triangle. The student will identify thoughts, feelings, and actions in simple scenarios and complete a worksheet to practice emotional awareness and self-regulation.

Early emotional awareness helps students self-regulate, communicate feelings, and navigate social situations. Building these skills supports focus, positive peer interactions, and coping strategies for everyday challenges.
