Heartfelt Emotions Lesson Plan

Students will listen to “In My Heart” by Jo Witek, identify emotions in the story, and create a personal heart map to name and illustrate their own feelings.

Building emotional literacy helps students recognize, label, and manage feelings, fostering self-awareness and social skills in the classroom.
