This lesson plan is designed to prepare grade 8 special education students for the transition to high school by exploring high school expectations and future experiences. Over two weeks, students will engage in a variety of learning strategies including Game-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Blended Learning, Collaborative Learning, Active Learning, and Experiential Learning. This approach will help students build confidence and understanding of what to expect in high school, fostering a smoother transition.
