Just Right Friends Lesson Plan

Students will learn to recognize and maintain “just right” friendships by identifying healthy boundaries and practicing respectful communication through a short reading, guided discussion, and a targeted worksheet.

Helping 4th graders understand balanced friendships fosters social-emotional growth, boosts confidence, and teaches mutual respect—key skills for positive peer interactions.
