Kindness Counts

Students will define kindness, identify examples of kind and unkind behaviors, and create a personal kindness pledge to foster empathy and cooperation in their classroom.

Building understanding of kindness helps 1st graders develop empathy, positive social skills, and a supportive classroom community. These foundations improve peer relationships and emotional well-being.
