Lesson Plan

Peace Pathways Lesson Plan

Students will learn and practice a four-step conflict resolution model—identify the conflict, express feelings, brainstorm solutions, and agree on next steps—to manage disagreements constructively in peer interactions.

Developing conflict resolution skills in 5th graders promotes positive peer relationships, reduces disruptions, and builds lifelong social-emotional competence by empowering students to handle disagreements calmly.
