Lesson Plan

Sensing Our Feelings Lesson Plan

Students will identify their sensory preferences across sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell, and connect each to an emotion by filling out a chart and matching emotion cards to senses.

This lesson builds self-awareness and emotional vocabulary by helping young learners recognize how their senses shape feelings. It fosters social connection as students share and value diverse sensory-emotional experiences.
