Mood Mapping Blueprint

Students will chart and label their daily emotions on personalized mood maps, expand emotional vocabulary through guided discussion, and reflect on mood patterns in a daily journal to foster self-awareness and emotional literacy.

This lesson helps 5th graders recognize, label, and regulate their emotions, building self-awareness, emotional vocabulary, and a supportive classroom culture through routine check-ins and reflection.
