Guiding Stars Lesson Plan

Students will explore their career aspirations and core values through interactive activities, self-reflection, and discussion to identify a guiding “North Star” that informs their future goals and motivates their planning.

This lesson builds self-awareness and goal-setting skills by helping 9th graders articulate what truly matters to them, laying a foundation for motivated academic and career planning.
