Worry Busters Lesson Plan

Students will learn to recognize and name anxious feelings and practice three simple coping strategies (deep breathing, positive self-talk, and muscle relaxation) to manage worries by the end of the session.

Helping 2nd graders identify and regulate anxiety early builds emotional resilience, reduces classroom disruptions, and fosters a safe learning environment. This lesson equips students with lifelong coping tools.
