In this 4-session, 10-minute Tier 1 classroom lesson, middle school students learn how to track their grades and project if they’d earn high school credit. By exploring real grade thresholds, practicing calculations, and reflecting on study habits, students gain critical self-monitoring skills to succeed academically now and in high school.

In this 45-minute, whole-class lesson for 5th graders, students will explore PBIS and MTSS to cultivate a supportive school climate through collaborative discussions and goal setting. This Tier 1 session helps students understand key behavioral expectations, build empathy, and commit to positive actions, setting the tone for a respectful classroom community.

This lesson is designed to help students with disabilities build confidence in their communication skills through experiential and collaborative learning activities. By engaging in a structured discussion, a fun activity, a role-playing exercise, a math-related group activity, and a group discussion, students will practice expressing their thoughts and listening to others, which is crucial for their social and academic development.
