In this two-session high school special ed life skills unit on conflict resolution, students will learn strategies to manage and resolve conflicts respectfully. Through interactive warm-ups, guided readings, discussions, and worksheets, they’ll build communication skills and emotional awareness necessary for positive relationships.
In this two-session life skills unit, high school special education students will learn self-advocacy skills to identify their needs, communicate effectively, and request support. Understanding self-advocacy empowers students to become confident, independent learners in both school and life. Audience: 9th–12th grade, two 50-minute sessions.
In this three‐session high school life skills unit, students learn to confidently express their needs, rights, and preferences in academic and personal settings. Through readings, discussions, and hands‐on activities, students will build strategies for self‐advocacy that empower them now and beyond. Ideal for grades 9–12, each 50‐minute session equips learners with practical tools and practice.
