Why Walk the Room?

In this 15-minute Tier 1 professional development session for PK–12 teachers, participants will examine how active supervision—moving around the classroom—boosts school climate and supports behavior management. Teachers will explore evidence-based benefits of circulation, reflect on their own practices, and debate the walk vs. station approach. This session empowers all teachers to implement simple strategies for a more engaging, safe, and responsive learning environment.
