A 6-session anger management group for 5th graders, focusing on understanding and managing anger through interactive activities and games. This Tier 2 small-group series includes Spanish and Portuguese supports to ensure inclusivity and offers practical coping strategies students can apply in real life.
In this 30-minute individual session for 5th graders, students will learn what anxiety is, recognize their own triggers, and practice calming strategies. This lesson is important for helping students build emotional resilience and feel empowered to manage feelings of worry. Audience: Grade 5, Tier 3, 1 session, 30 minutes.
In this engaging 30-minute lesson, 5th graders will learn essential social skills like active listening, empathy, and respectful communication. Through interactive activities and discussions, students will practice these skills in real-life scenarios, building stronger relationships and a positive classroom community.
Upper elementary students (Grades 3-5) will work together over two 45-minute sessions to create a vibrant gratitude mural using drawing, painting, collage, and calligraphy. This project fosters social-emotional growth by encouraging reflection, gratitude, and collaboration, while integrating art skills and building classroom community.
