Students in small kindergarten groups will investigate everyday scenarios as 'detectives,' analyzing choices as good or poor and explaining their reasoning. This fun, investigative approach builds responsible decision-making skills aligned with CASEL competencies.

In this 30-minute session, 5th graders will explore everyday dilemmas through scenario-based activities, learning to map out responsible decisions using the CASEL Responsible Decision-Making framework. This Tier 1 lesson builds foundational decision-making skills for real-life situations.

In this 5th grade, Tier 1, 60-minute lesson, students will explore what contributes to a positive school climate. By auditing their environment and reflecting on feelings, they'll identify strengths and areas for growth, empowering them to help create a more welcoming school. Materials include interactive discussions, activities, and reflections.

A 20-minute Tier 1 classroom lesson for 3rd graders focused on boosting self-esteem through positive affirmations and peer encouragement. Students will warm up with a fun Compliment Toss, craft Affirmation Bracelets to reinforce positive self-talk, and finish with a Share the Shine Circle to celebrate one another. This lesson builds a supportive classroom culture and helps students internalize kindness.

Introduce 4th graders to their school counselor’s role, building trust and awareness. In this single 30-minute Tier 1 lesson, students learn who the counselor is, what they do, and how to seek support in school. This fosters student well-being and empowers them to use available resources.
