Emotion Emoji Quest Lesson Plan

Students will identify and match characters’ emotions to emojis and articulate reasons for their choices, building social-emotional literacy through interactive play and discussion.

Recognizing and labeling emotions enhances empathy, engagement, and reading comprehension. Integrating SEL in ELA supports self-awareness and social skills while deepening understanding of characters.
