Overcoming Mental Health Stigma

Educate students on correct terminology when discussing mental health and the impacts of stigma

This lesson aims to educate 9th-grade students on the concept of mental health stigma, its impacts, and the correct terminology to use when discussing mental health. Students will watch a TED Talk, participate in discussions, engage in role-playing activities, complete worksheets, read relevant materials, and take a quiz to reinforce their understanding.
