Perspective Taking Plan

Students will define perspective taking, understand its links to bias, empathy, and open-mindedness, and list two ways considering multiple viewpoints enhances decision-making.

By practicing perspective-taking, students build empathy, reduce misunderstandings, and improve collaboration. This lesson enhances critical thinking and open-mindedness—while also strengthening self-awareness, dependability, and reliability—skills that are crucial for both personal growth and academic success.
