In this 6-session, group-focused unit, fourth graders will learn and practice perspective taking to improve empathy and communication. Through stories, role-plays, and reflections, students will sharpen their social skills and create a kinder classroom community.

Through Others' Eyes

In this 30-minute lesson, 3rd graders will learn the skill of perspective taking—understanding how others think and feel—in a fun, interactive way. This lesson builds empathy and improves communication by engaging students in scenarios, discussions, and activities that help them “step into someone else’s shoes.” Audience: 3rd Grade, Tier 1 Classroom, 1 session.

Self-Reg Superpower

In this two-part group lesson, fourth graders learn self-regulation as a superpower they can use every day. Through interactive activities, guided discussions, and personal reflection, students will build skills to manage emotions and behaviors. Completing both 30-minute sessions helps students thrive in and out of the classroom.

Circle of Support

In this 30-minute Tier 1 counseling session for 7th graders, students will explore the power of peer support and active listening, learning skills to build a stronger classroom community. This lesson fosters empathy, communication, and self-awareness, equipping students with tools to support themselves and each other.
